My research falls into two parts:
- research on Narratology
- research on Conceptual Structures,
and in particular how these strands of research can be combined.
Both my MA thesis and my PhD dissertation
explores such intersections. One specific strand of this is work on
Ontology
More
recently, I have been occupied with the role of culture in
theorizing narrative. Specificallt, the study of Narratologies of
the East and West
A number of papers on Conceptual Structures have been published in the ICCS community, where I have been a member of the Program Committee of ICCS since 2003, and a member of the Editorial Board since 2006
I also serve as reviewer in various communities and have edited a few books.
